Freezone companies can be licensed in 24–48 hours for standard activities with complete documents. Mainland companies typically take 3–7 business days due to DED processing times. Complex activities with additional ministry approvals take longer. We give you an accurate timeline after reviewing your activity.
Do I need to be in Dubai to set up a company?
No. Arab First handles the entire process remotely. You provide documents digitally, sign via e-signature where accepted, and we collect your license. You do not need to visit Dubai until you choose to — your investor visa can also be processed before you arrive.
What is included in the formation service?
Our formation service includes: trade name reservation, initial approval, MOA drafting and notarisation, license application submission, license collection, and digital delivery of all corporate documents. Office setup assistance and bank account introduction are available as add-ons or included in full packages.
Can I start trading as soon as I receive my license?
Yes. Once your license is issued, your company can legally begin commercial operations immediately. Note that some regulated activities (financial services, healthcare, etc.) require additional ministerial approvals before trading. We will flag any additional requirements during your consultation.
What if I want to change my activity after the license is issued?
Activity amendments are possible at any time subject to authority approval and an amendment fee. Major activity changes (e.g. from commercial to professional) may require additional documents. Contact your advisor before making changes to ensure compliance.
