Audit Services FAQs
Is an annual audit mandatory for my UAE company?
It depends on your license type. Most freezone companies (DMCC, DIFC, DAFZA, DMC) require an annual statutory audit for license renewal. Mainland companies generally do not require a mandatory audit unless they have specific activity requirements. Offshore companies (RAK ICC) have no audit requirement.
How long does an audit take?
For a standard freezone company with clear records, Arab First completes most audits within 5–10 business days of receiving complete documentation. Complex corporate structures or businesses with poor records may take longer.
Are your auditors certified in the UAE?
Yes. All audits are conducted by Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and ACCA members registered with UAE regulatory authorities. Our audit reports are accepted by all major UAE freezones and government authorities.
What if my records are not in order?
Our bookkeeping team can bring your records up to standard before the audit begins. Many clients use both our bookkeeping and audit services, which ensures seamless preparation and faster completion.
Can you submit the audit directly to the freezone?
Yes. Arab First handles direct submission of completed audit reports and financial statements to your freezone authority on your behalf, saving you administrative time at renewal.
Do you offer a fixed-fee audit quote?
Yes. We provide a fixed-fee engagement letter before starting. There are no surprise charges. Fees depend on company size, transaction volume, and the freezone's specific requirements.
